Sellling Paloma Blanca 3860 gown....sad

So I've finally decided to sell my classic wedding gown. I have wonderful memories and want to help a new bride feel beautiful too!  I rather share the gown than keep it boxed up.  Here are the details: Gown is a size 12 in natural 100% silk dupioni in a delicate princess A-line cut with an empire waist and a sweeping train. The neckline is stunning in a slight sweetheart shape with rouching along the bust area and alencon lace and beading detail under the bust area (beading extends to the back as well). The low back has a full length of fabric buttons accenting all the way down to the train. The alencon lace scallop trim is on the bottom of the dress through the train. This is a classic gown.  For more details or pictures (don't know how to post pictures here) please feel free to post here. All the best to all new planning brides! Enjoy every moment!

  • CTbride, did you get the fingertip veil too? The same alencon lace is on the veil and its a mantilla style so it beautifully frames the face. It was my favorite part! Either way, you will be a classic bride!  Best of luck to you! Have fun!
  • pixielee - I haven't chosen a veil yet...I did try on the lacey one that I think matches 3860 (the one they show on the PB website) and I didn't like it on me...I tried it on with a simple fingertip veil with a blusher, and really liked that look :-) My actual dress should be her around January...I can't wait! I will likely chose my veil then!

  • Dear Carrie, I absolutely love your wedding ideas and bio! I was wondering whether you might be prepared to produce a monogram for me - your work is beautiful! I'd be happy to pay for this. Thanks!
  • Carrie, your blog is great! The dress is beautiful on you! And great choice with a simpler veil with blusher; it really makes the dress the grand highlight! I love your ideas in your wedding planning. Our wedding colors were orange and purpley blue which ended up being more sapphire blue in pictures. Best of luck to you and ENJOY!
  • Hi! I was wondering if your Paloma Blanca 3860 dress was still available. If so, did you make any alterations to the dress? Do you have any pictures that I can see? If you could send me an email whenever you get a chance, that'd be great!

    Thanks so much -- Karen
