Envelope inner-fold paper

Okay, this may be a really dumb question, but I don't know much about this paper business. How do you DIY the paper that goes inside an envelope. For example, if I wanted the design on the inside of the envelope to be a different pattern, how does that work?

Anyone? Bueller? Am I even making sense?

I'm not doing this; I think this is where I draw my DIY line

But I think other girls have just found/made a template and used wrapping paper, etc. Check the DIY board! I know it's been discussed a few times with good suggestions!

Funny you should ask because I was JUST looking at an article in the new Knot Magazine about how to make your own. Its not the one thats specific to any area, on page 54. Its great!

Annnnnnd I'm probably going to pass on that project. 200 of those does not sound fun. I say that, and yet I'm still trying to work out DIYing caramel apple favors ...

I did that! Sorry I don't have good pictures though but it was very very time consuming. TOTALLY worth it though, the invitations looked gorgeous and I got so many compliments on the liners.

I personally bought a kit at the paper source that was a bunch of different templates and then just traced/cut out the liners on fancy paper. I then used double sided tape to attach the liners to the inside of the envelopes.

I saw someone's bio who actually made the liner out of an e pic! Which looked super cute... but expensive and super time consuming.

That's awesome, Ms. Ricka! I'd love to see them. I just went into Paper Source for the first time a couple weeks ago and I am doomed to a new addiction. LOVE that place!

I'll check out that how-to as well ... but it might just be too much time to invest in actually doing it.

LOVE Paper Source!

We bought their templates and big sheets of their fine paper. The helped us figure out how many sheets we needed based on our envelope size and what paper we wanted. We ordered the paper via their website (with a 10% discount or something because we ordered more than 10 sheets) because we had an online coupon.

Yes, for sure sign-up for their emails. GREAT coupons in there!

Just ask for help if you are there and have questions. They try to leave you alone so you can "be creative and dream" but are happy to answer questions and help out if you ask
