Recap: Basically, OP has decided that she's going to send separate invitations out: one for wedding/reception, and a second for the party the next day. There were some distractions throughout the post with some bickering back and forth.Not too much happened, which is weird that it was deleted suddenly.

I wouldn't be on TK at all if they were all like the club boards. So boring. Although, my local girls called out someone rude the other day, so I was kinda impressed with them.

There were definite signs of improvement. She came to the realization that calling it a "party" rather than a "reception" would be more appropriate.

My reason for deciding not to was you, Stage. :-) I can't believe I thought about that. I just dislike dancing, but I'm planning on keeping the planned dances to a minimum (like MAYBE a first dance and that's it). Plus a DJ is more expensive, but whatever. It will be so much better.Thanks Lauren! Yeah, people on my club board are ordering invitations and some already registered like a year ago. I'm the month before you. I'm like, "Huh? I feel so accomplished because I sent the deposit to my venue this week." I don't need to feel like anymore of a slacker than I am.And the girl on my local who was doing an all-black "morbid" wedding is now doing Alice in Wonderland. I told her to post here.

Well, that's good at least. This one wasn't nearly as crazy as some we see. On the karaoke - one of FI's requirements for the reception is that he be given a microphone when the DJ plays "Don't Stop Believin'". Seriously.
