    Definitely not something you want to chance.  What if there is an accident on 495 or a tube is closed for construction?

    I wouldn't chance it. If you are willing to go to someone anyway, I can get the info for my BF's hair lady in livingston. NOt sure how far that is from you.

    Lisa at Focus on Hair in Livingston. She is the only black stylist there. She came from Shades Salon - not sure where that one is.And then there is Mane Ambiance in Morristown.

    i def would not do it.  i find it hard to believe that there is no one in central jersey that can't do your hair.

    Honestly there's not a lot of options as far as salons that are willing to do my hair and that can do my hair in central NJ. That's why I've been going into the city since I was in college to get my hair done. That said there are a couple of options that I knew of within 20 minutes of my parents house and unfortunaltly those didn't pan out. I really am open to suggestions and by no means *want* to go into the city the day of.
