Well, I can assure all of you questioning this that *I* only got involved to add something about the candy van to help ease a little tension between colleen and bippy and bippy turned on me for no reason. So yes, I think they're going at it for real.

No miss this is one of the few situations where paying for your own wedding applies as a totally valid answer. Know why??? NO ONE fuucking needs to get married on a helicopter pad! NO ONE should have their mother go into debt for a big wedding. If your parents can't afford then pay yourself, if you can't afford it then wait until you can.

I rolled my eyes at that actually. Yeah, fuucking, right, Anna.Right before she took a big shiit and it smelled like roses.And it's fine to be a chef and use allrecipes. All the time I come up with menu ideas from allrecipes for dinner. My husband usually always spruces it up and makes it better, but he's not ashamed to admit that he used a recipe from allrecipes or company's coming or rachaelfuckingray.

Maybe her mom would have disowned her if she refused the money. Maybe her mom insisted on the helicopter pad. Unlikely, but possible.My cousin's dad took out a 10k second mortgage to pay for her wedding. Not my wedding, not my money, don't really care.

I know Tide. It wouldn't surprise me at to find there are people here who actually are 50 year old men in their underwear. (Not saying that's as bad as lying about being shot or something...) But what are you going to do? You have to believe what people tell you about themselves. Or not.

I guess I wouldn't judge her so much if her mom hadn't bailed her out of credit card debt. Sorry, I think it is entirely possible to say, mom, I love you but let's plan a wedding that you can afford without borrowing money from other people. Yes, her mother is a grownass woman but so is she and she can easily say thanks but no thanks.

I wasn't here when she mentioned her mom paid her CC debt. It's weird her mom would also offer to finance her wedding. But whatever. I doubt many of us can say we wouldn't LIKE for our parents to pay for our entire weddings. I know no one here would demand money from them, but if they offer you tens of thousands of dollars it's probably really, really hard to say no. I could understand that.
