Books are often different from the movies, and books are always better than the movie.this is my first blog and I'm new to the whole thing, you don't need to be so rude about it.It's a flame free thread. Sabine, I haven't read your blog and don't really care to, but if you're basing a book report off GWTW the movie, then yeah, it's WAY different than the book. It's hard to fit 800+ pages into a movie. Even a 4 hour one.

I read an excerpt from GWTW with my 11 year olds yesterday. We were working on specific setting. It's WAY different than the movie.I HATE it when kids try to pull that "I read the book" crap when they are clearly sharing details from the movie.

"it cant' be too different from the book right?" Thats funny, really funny. Have you ever read a book and then watched the movie and compared. Very few movies of books are exactly like the book, they do a lot of cutting and changing. Frig, Scarlet doesnt even have KIDS in the movie!!
