Hmm... It could be red like the Little Mermaid's hair. Alabaster like her skin. Teal like her tail. I can't remember the color of her bikini though.

hahah that is hilarious.My college roomate tells me her wedding planner wants to encorporate the color 'taffeta' into her wedding. I asked her what color that was and she said, 'oh I don't know but it sounds awesome and I trust him." FAIL.

I think it's a David's Bridal color for BM gowns (like a deep aqua color, if I remember correctly). Weird though, that someone would name their color scheme after a BM gown. It should be the other way around.

I'm baffled. At least when people change their color names to nouns, it usually makes sense: lemon (yellow), slate (gray), rose (pink). But what color, exactly, are mermaids? Weird.

Weird though, that someone would name their color scheme after a BM gown. It should be the other way around.I see this constantly. Truffle, lapis, apple, and all these other dang colors are a DB invention. I've been shopping for tablecloths and all of the colors are "DB coordinates". Who's really looking to see if the bridesmaids match the tablecloths?

I THINK mermaid blue is a color. Think.*giving her the benefit of the doubt*I kind of hate people who come up with colors that will be impossible to match though. Blue-green is one of the worst. Some are more blue, some are more green.

And this goes for BM dresses, and also the whole "my dress is ivory and the table cloths are white, omg, what on earth do I do" question as well.My dress is ivory and my linens are white. Because I don't want to pay to rent colored ones! The white ones come with the venue. But Stage, you will be happy to know that I couldn't care less about anything than the non-matching linens!

It's weird. looking at the dresses they look damn electric. But if you look at the little square they call mermaid (top row all the way to the right) it looks darker. I certainly hope for her BMs sake that it is darker.
