There is a boy in one of my classes who is always blowing his nose extremely loud and hard. Last week, his nose started bleeding in class and he stayed the entire time. Umm hello, go to the restroom, thats nasty. Then today, I see him digging in his nose like there was gold in there. I seriously don't understand this guy, you're in college! You should have stopped doing that in public a long time ago.

If I had had a team in it or someone other than the same teams all the time, then I would be sad too.  However, it always seems like the same teams over and over.  It gets boring.

What a horrible Wenesday! I got in an accident on the way to work this morning and it has totally ruined my day... until my co-worker bought me ice cream! haha, oh how food can make you feel better! The last thing I need to deal with is trying to get my car fixed/dealing with insurance companies on top of wedding planning and unpacking for moving into our house.

I'm one post away from hiding my BIL on facebook. EVERY post is about Phi Kap and "the brotherhood of honor". He graduated from college over a year ago. Time to do something else with your life!I know people absolutely love their frats and sororities, but some people I've known make it an obsession. Annoying.

Emi, you being a flame whore would make my afternoon :) Also, I've blocked the majority of my family members from my newsfeed. Isn't dealing with them in person enough?

Here goes it... This is for you Manda...1. Don't dirty delete. There was a post late last week/weekend and the poster asked a really DUMB question. HOWEVER, people still gave her feedback, albeit feedback she may have not liked. Why delete it? If you had the balls to ask such an absurd question, then you must accept the answers given to you. This was from a regular poster.2. Dallas, Daughters, and Divas is greatness. Those girls are going to be mortified in a few years when they realize how absolutely vile they ALL are, mothers included. And the chances of them going on a proper date with anyone in college, or getting laid for that matter is dwindling. And those women are NOT the Dallas elite, trust me.3. And there are SO many red flags when your husband is spending $200+ without you knowing about it. And I also blame you for not being more aware of purchases he is making; if 2 people share an account, then 2 people need to take responsibility. Any by responsibility, I don't mean nag.Okay, I won't be on Friday, so I feel better.

I've had a job that blocked TK. It's been sad. Now I have no job (I have interviews, just waiting for something to work out), so I have time to be on here. I still get on at night to read through things, but it's just not the same!

I've been watching that lately!  Hilarious!  Chanel: "I like Conner, I'm going to tell him how I feel"Chanel's friend: "Conner looked gay"Steve (he caught this episode): "Oh my god...that's because Conner IS gay!"Sure enough, Conner is most definitely gay.3. I remember the dirty delete because I was planning to later respond asking everyone who was critical of the post to give the poster a break.  The post wasn't any dumber than other NWR questions about what to do on weekends or asking for good vibes because something's going poorly.

Now I'm really curious.  What was the DD about?

Ooh ... I probably saw it but I don't remember..
  • edited December 2011
Ok, #1 was about a post earlier this week. Maybe DUMB was not the right word, but the question was most definitely absurd. The poster asked how we thought we should cheer up her husband. It was a certain type if crappy circumstance that, myself and others, did not think was Knot question worthy. No one was mean. But no one but ME can determine what to do to cheer up my husband, espeially when what happened to him is specific to only him and us.

SCbride asked how to cheer her husband up because he was having a bad day.It p!ssed me off because it was stupid. I responded with something about how we weren't the ones who married him, and she needed to suck it up and use her common sense.

I thought it was no worse than asking "what should we do for our anniversary?" or anything like that.  In my opinion, if you didn't think that it was something knotties could/should help with, then just ignore it.  No need to jump on her for it.  We all ask about or talk about all sorts of different things, and I was surprised to see that kind of reaction from people who are usually much more constructive.
