  I've been on the boards since I got engaged about 2 months ago, but I found out about the existence of TK about 8 years ago. I had a friend/fellow intern who was obsessed with getting her boyfriend to propose, and used to show me stuff on TK and the engagement ring she had designed on DeBeers. THAT taught me not to be crazy or stalk wedding crap until actually planning a wedding. She ended up marrying a different guy.

  I discovered TK a couple weeks before I got engaged in March.  It was even longer before I noticed the message boards.  I posted a few on my local, and only recently started posting here.

  May/June 08 under my old sn for about a day; made new sn soon after; didn't start posting (with current sn) until I was engaged in July 08 that I can recall; didn't start posting daily until the end of 08/beginning of 09 (I think?).

  I was on here for about six months before my wedding... sooo April 08? I didn't post much though until after my wedding in October '08. So I have been posting every day for a little over a year with a 3 month hiatus from P&E for the Boston board this summer.

  I started lurking about a year ago (no shiit) when a friend of a friend got engaged.  This friend of a friend was BSC and we loved reading her ridiculous, lying posts.  She posted on NEY and P&E and it was funny.  Then I got engaged in May but only started posting recently.

  Sort of disturbing that I've been on here longer than many others, but I found TK in March 2008, while I was working for an event designer (read florist and rental coordinator who specializes in weddings).  Started posting last winter, and again last month.
