I should add who did you use- Mye I think you are in my area- who did you use? This is a lot less than the ones I am being quoted... for me I'm being quoted $175, for BM $75-$90, for blow-outs $65....

imo - that' s alot - what you just quoted here I'd give you a rec but in all honesty the 2 girls I used weren't even that good, so that's no help I do know that Michelle LoConte gets rave reviews on here (don't know her prices though)

Too much money talk for one day! Its looking like Ill be paying about $1500-2000 for hair and make up for myself, my mom, my grandmother, FI's sister and 5 bridesmaids. That is an estimate based on the website pricing of the people I am having trials with for half-day for 8-12 people. I am assuming there will be assistants invovled for both but I have no idea yet as I am just starting this process.

I don't trust anyone at my salon to touch m hair really. That sounds bad but it's true. I am ultra picky about my hair too.

My hair and makeup was together... one was $125 and one was $90, for a total of $215.For the girls, it was $75 for hair, $75 for makeup, or $125 for both.The recent NJ/NY weddings I've been in were $180 for hair and makeup.

$150 for me and $100 each for 5 BMs. It's the ONE hairdresser I trust and I did not want to pay for trials for anybody else who was totally new to me, as I'd probably have ended up paying that much altogether in the end anyway. It's the salon's mark-up, if I was having my wedding on a Friday or Sunday she would have charged me not even half. Bummer, but 100% worth it.This is Ona at Salon5 in Fort Lee. She's genuis.

ahaha, well right now I am oldest one who works there. "I'm the old lady" All the other girls aren't experienced enough yet. lol. I don't even get my haircut at Supercuts. LOL

Lack of experience by most of the staff. I did go to a similar type of walk in place one time to get my hair done before a wedding, and I think it was my favorite hairdo ever, so I'm sure there are some good people there.

I used Michelle LoConte and my BM's were around $70 and I was like $175 or so, but I also booked her over a year ago, and I am sure that her prices (like everything else) has gone up. I have paid between $70 and $85 to get my hair done as a BM.

i think my sis and i were each $50? we went to the salon i always go to for my hair, and they charge $50 for an updo...my friend charges $80 to go to your house to do it....my trial was free though...shhhh...i went in for a haircut on a day the boss wasn't there, so my stylist (also a good friend of mine) just did the trial then...she's in wayne

Me - 175 and the girls about 85 I thinkYes, it was expensive but for me well worth. I have curly hair and had at minimum 5 different hair trials, one worse than the next so when she was awesome I handed it over. Well worth every last penny.

i'm being quoted $200 for hair and makeup (incl lashes) for me. $90 for BM hair, $165 if they want hair and makeup.I feel like I've always paid about $150 for hair and makeup as a BM.
