Not trying to be all debbie downer...

...but can someone tell me the fascination with Wedding Wire? I mean, I get that it can be fun to poke fun at some illogical wedding logic for a time, but at some point don't you just say HEY. They are kind of a bunch of stupid squeeing babies?Thing is, you have to know that nothing you say is going to change their minds, just like nothing they say is going to make you see their illogical views. They're at wedding wire because that's where they want to post. If they post here, then yeah. We can jump on them so to speak, but yeah. I just am not getting it.

• Eye to eye, senorita.

• I searched hard for a board on the knot called Wedding Wire.  I was so confused for a day.  The knot is enough drama for me.
• I'm actually trying to help. I know, its hard for me to believe too, I'm just really bored, I guess. I'm trying to find posts to be supportive of so I don't look biased... but its hard to find one thats not terrible etiquette or all SQUEEEE.

• Co-signed.  Cross posting threads was annoying when it was with NEY, and that's on theknot.  If I cared was happening on Wedding Wire, I'd be over there.

• Andplusalso - Someone appearing on another website does not mean they're "back." Especially if it's just someone who happens to like a certain vowel of the alphabet.

• I admit I had fun last night, but I did not post over there last night.  It was all via observation. I also have to add that I was bored because DH fell asleep at 8:30pm.   Oh and added a few more post for my quest for a blue ball.

• cfasz! Thanks for fixing your signature! Yeah, I totally get being bored, I was just curious...

• I've lost interest lately because that has been the only drama here.
• I thought it was funny the first day. Maybe the second. I haven't even bothered reading the threads over there. I used Wedding Wire for my seating chart. That's about it.
• I browsed over there again this morning when I saw there had been more goings-on last night, but I'm kinda done with it now.
• Word. It's a completely different environment.  An "invasion" there isn't going to change their minds about anything any more than a WW "invasion" to theknot will change our minds.  I do find it funny though that theknot people were saying the exact same things that the WW people were saying, but because they were associated w/ theknot, those poster's suggestions were automatically thrown out. They're beebees.  We're bitches.  Nothing's going to change on either end.  I don't see the point of a "war".
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!

• Also in all honesty, I never knew posting that first thread would lead to so much more!
• They're beebees. We're bitches. Nothing's going to change on either end. I don't see the point of a "war".This. I've realized this morning that any of us posting over there is only making their dilusion worse. They immediately disregard any differing opinions because they attribute them being from some TK biitch.
• And a war usually means that there are people on both ends coming and posting things on each others boards.  Aside from the random crazy girl the other night, they've kept off here.

• This board is full of awesome, and there's isn't. It's kind of like kicking kittens at this point.

•
It's kind of like kicking kittens at this point.
Thank you Fishy.  I was trying to think of a good analogy, but nothing was coming to me.  You pretty much summed it up there.

• I'm sure it will all die down in another day or so. I haven't been following it all that much because I've been really busy the past couple of days, so I'm only getting the highlights. Like any other board drama, it's amusing enough, and we kind of needed something to tide us over until the holiday new engagements start in earnest. That's the way it goes.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
• But I don't like kittens :-/

• Board wars just seem to be part of the knot. Someone gets bored and finds something ridiculous on another board, everyone discusses and it becomes a bigger thing that it needs to be, other board finds out, trouble ensues. Its no different than with the SoFl ladies, the undis board, etc. It only seems to go on at night though.
• We'll probably see an invasion on here today or tomorrow. The 3 day waiting period can be a b!tch. But honestly, I'm not worried about it. I got called RUDE on my local for giving advice. ::yawn::
• But Nebb, is it really a war if there's no retaliation from the other end, with the exception of one looney?

• I'm with ya.The Ed Hardy wedding, while laughable, didn't (for me) warrant anything further than 'hey look at this craziness! hahaha!' Not sure where it got all excitable--I lost interest pretty quickly.I tend to stay away from most drama anyway. It gives me hives.

• Its gone on long enough that it might as well be. THIS one hasnt been as intense as other ones though.
• I've lost interest lately because that has been the only drama here.Ditto.
• I can't believe with all the real-life drama going on, this is still happening. Obiviously, I missed something last night by going to bed early.

• I will say that I find Wedding Wire fascinating...only because I've never seen so many bad ideas in one place.

• Yeah, really. I mean, it was overwhelming when I just glanced at it really quick when I followed one of the links. There's not enough time in my life to say everything I'd want to say over there. So I'll just stick with you bitches.

• P&E visited WW and all I got was a new word, minggleling.
• ditto salt.although I'm not posting over there, I do find them entertaining to read.  There is one right now who is complaining about the grammer police and wants to know if 'we' have a problem with her being a lesbian.  Not sure how grammer and lesbianism go together, but okay. All the text talk does make my eyes hurt though.  Is it really necessary to type 'ne' instead of 'any'?  Or when someone types 'judgemental' and then 'ppl' as the next word.  Really?  Is it so hard to use vowels in all your words.
