I fee like during the day, even if you're a reg, someone is always looking for you to slip up, or make a mistake or say something wrong. Then someone's going to jump on your for it. It feels more hostile. That's not to say the day crew isn't great, it's really just a different feeling.

Brie, this is SO lame, but I have to ask. Why did you changeyour opinion about me for the worse? You posted that in a poll once and I just can't think of any thing negative happening before us. Do I just make you stabby? I mean, it's cool if I do, not everyone gets along. I'm just curious, because I think you're pretty awesome. For the record, I don't dislike you at all and "for the worse" was probably a bad descriptor. It's more of I first thought of you as being really mature, but then you posted a couple of threads, like the one about you freaking about your FI not calling you every few hours on his trip, and I was like, "wow, she kind of has a little bit of growing up to do still." It's not a bad thing, at all, I just think you show your age a little sometimes. When I was 21, I was a lot like you with my BF at the time, and it led to some bad issues between us, and it worries me a little seeing that in someone else.I don't know, I'm tired and I'm rambling. I don't hate you or anything, I just see you as still having some growing to do as a person, which I didn't notice at first. Not a big deal!

I got critiques back from a faculty member and everything was little! So I have minor changes to make before I can take the poster to the printer.

Day time doesn't make me scared to post, just nervous. Some of those peeps are just so tight it feels like it's impossible to break in.Also, it sucks that I'm at my most witty/funny when I'm either a) drunk or b)comfortable with the crowd. Hence, I feel like I come off boring when I post though the day.... That, and my boss walks by waaaay too often.

Ok, that makes sense. I KNOW I have some growing up to do. I sure as hell don't have everything figured out at 21! For the record, I realize how...immature that was. I have REALLY, REALLY been working on it. I talked to my parents, FI and a counselor. It really don't have anything to do with FI. I have serious abandonment issues (my mom left, my sister left, my dad died and 'left'). I'm worried about FI 'leaving' in one way or the other. I don't really think that has anything to do with maturity, but its an issue I'll work on and deal with my whole life. I do however, think I am a little more mature than some of the younger brides we get on here.

I also read more and post less during the day if I'm around.This is true for me too. Sometimes I will pop in and read some things, but often whatever I have to say is said before I get there. Also, I get my best schoolwork done during the day, and if I try to keep up with daytime P&E, I get absolutely nothing accomplished.That kind of happened today, actually.

Lauren (OP Lauren), ITA with your #4. I was thinking the same thing earlier after lala's thread wound down. I am pretty sporadic with my time on here, and I was just so glad that I stuck around today and put my words out there. I feel like I got to know people so much more, and it was nice to not feel like a crazy person for having some of these struggles that many of us share.This will also be my first real January on here! I think I joined at the tail end of last January.

Haha, Salt, wrong kind of maturity. You're hilarious with your immaturity. I totally understand what Brie means though. I don't think people ever stop growing and learning. I don't think that means I'm too young to get married though. If a relationship is solid and you have great communication, I think the two of you grow and change together. It's a part of life.

Salt, people think you're scary? I just think you're fun. And straight to the point. You posts are quite often very witty. I have a question you should be able to answer... how many installs can you get from one Photoshop disk? as in, if my step dad has full out paid for Photoshop, can I use his disk to install it and use it on my computer?I say that because right now I'm using the GIMP to try and pretend like I know how to edit pics (I have about 1600 unedited pro pics) and I feel like PS would be better....

I don't like when I post and people respond without reading my post, case in point, yesterday my question about etiquette.For some reason, I think this problem isn't quite as bad as it used to be. In my first iteration of hanging around here, it felt like I was questioning people's reading comprehension all the time. I think a certain pot-roast-cooking person was often the ringleader. But it definitely still happens, though.

FILs are in town and they are staying with FI's boss and his wife, who are family friends. They are all uber-Republican and FFIL and FI's boss both have high-ranking important conservative jobs, and apparently this means they need to watch Bill O'Reilly constantly. I'm feeling stabby. I just need to take some Motrin for this headache and get my fanny in bed.
