[i]Word. H and I just spent the past couple hours playing Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. It was our first Wii game, so it's been neglected for a year or so.[/i] Ohhh fun. I need to see if I can hook up my NES. I got the orig off ebay for $30 with a bunch of games. They are the only video games I've ever been good at until Wii, which we don't have. (But FI might get one because he manages a video game store and gets a discount. He has an Xbox though.)

We did a LDR for about 2.5 years. It was tough. It was worse because FI is terrible at phone sex. My ex was good at that, so FI was especially bad.

Thanks guys! I learned that fabric glue doesn't work so well on acrylics. Especially thin ones. I did improve my hand sewing skillz though.

There's no way I could do it.It's not all that different from being single. In my head I kind of think of it as "nun mode" - for the most part things just slow way down for me. What can be weird is to suddenly switch nun mode off when I see him for a weekend. One of those problems they don't necessarily tell you about in self help books about LDRs.

salt - Well, we're going to try to get stationed back on the East coast eventually. We have to go overseas for a few years, though, because the AF doesn't transfer stateside to stateside, which is pretty lame. When I still lived out there, Phil looked into trying to get moved to Andrews or Langley in VA, but got a big fat thumbs down.I miss a lot of things about MD, though. All of my friends are there. There are pizza, bagels and diners there. Also, Ram's Head. Pretty much my favorite venue ever.Basically, salt, the US Government is keeping us apart.I'm pretty sure you should start a plot to overthrow.

I'm totally picturing Pinky and the Brain right now, but I'm not the Brain. Ram's Head rocks. There is a good show coming up too. I can't remember which one, but I know it's cool and I'm supposed to get tickets to it (per my friend the other day).
