NWR: Tax person?

Does anyone here have a tax person that they use and trust? I just got a letter from the IRS saying I screwed something up on my tax return the year I bought my house. Looking at my paperwork, the numbers they said were reported are wrong....however, I can't figure out how I came up with my numbers either b/c it was so long ago, and so complicated with all the settlement paperwork. I need a professional. Any recs? tia

    I work for an accounting firm, I'll talk to our tax guy on Monday and let you know how to contact him. He's a CPA.

    I use Anita Martindale with Accounting Solutions. She is a CPA, but is independent so her prices are very reasonable. I've been using her for a little over a year now. Her number is 703-594-3600.
