DD does NOT have strep, and her insurance claim was almost too easy. Nationwide has been a pleasure to work with today, which was unexpected. I'm working on our Holiday e-cards at work, adding new product to a Christmas tree out of our chairs, which is turning out to be great. The headline will be "... and a partridge in a chair tree." The last of my TY notes left the post office today!My mom is making chicken and dumplins for supper, and I no longer have to deny myself the goodness for a dress. YES!!!!Now you go.

I'm leaving work in 35 minutes! Yeah! Then I'm going to work on a group project for school, but we're having pizza. Just as long as I don't throw it up and flash a boob like I did yesterday, it's all good.

It's 5 days away from my wedding and I'm only working 3 days this week. My escort cards are all alphabetized. I just have to fold them and get them ready to bring to the hall on Thursday. I've gotten a lot of facebook messages and texts from people today talking about how excited they are for the wedding. That makes me happy. Glad to hear all the great things happening for you, Bec.

Mad men obviously.My husband got officially offered a 4 issue comic to be published.Ive had the entire office to myself all day long.Im wearing the pants I bought last year with the intention of fitting into and then never fit into until now.

A friend was shot in the arm in the Ft. Hood shootings last Thursday, and today she's getting her surgery where they'll take out the bits of bullet that were left and graft in some bone to replace the chunk that was lost. I'm so happy that they're putting her back together (finally!), and that she can get on the long road to physical and mental recovery!

Um. Let's see.My boss hasn't yelled at me yet today, so that's awesome. Molly kissed my nose when I picked her up this morning. She usually doesn't give good morning kisses. I get to go to Hobby Lobby after work and get the rest of the supplies I need to make stuff for my upcoming craft show. I love Hobby Lobby.

Well I get to leave work earlier than usual since I got in early after dropping FI off at the airport, so that's a bonus. Although FI is OOT until Sunday, so that pretty much blows. I don't know how some people do LDRs!

I'm almost done with my big assignment due tomorrow, which is waaay ahead of time, and FI was able to schedule time to retake his GREs so his new scores will still count. The yuck list is much longer.

My boss isn't here. He hasn't been here for the last 3 work days. But, I am watching his cat while he's gone. And, I haven't really done any of the work I was supposed to. So tomorrow is going to suck.And, I had a bag of candy in my purse. I love candy.

I got both kids back to school today and FI back to work. They've all been home for the past week with the flu. I have never been so grateful to have the house to myself. I fell asleep at 10am and woke up just in time for the kids to come home at 3pm.

Scarlet- thank goodness your friend is going to be ok. I heard about the Fort Hood shootings when we were in Costa Rica last week. DH was in the shower and I ran in to tell him about it because he also processed through there on his way to Iraq. What a horrible situation!

A friend and I set up a workout date at 5:30 so I will be getting back into the gym routine. Maggie finally went without an accident all night and so far all today!! I got tons of mail today.. all the packages, magazines, letters I was waiting for all arrived today!

I just got an unexpected invite to dinner tonight with DH - we don't get to eat dinner together during the week, but he went in early, so he gets out early. Simple things! Sadly, I am not going to be an aunt again in January. But, there's still some bites out there.

I have a crock pot of beef stew goodness waiting on me when I get home. I get to leave work in about an hour, and I just got the OK to work from home tomorrow. We have an insane deadline for work on Wednesday, and I've already finished up my part of the project, putting us slightly ahead of schedule, and I got a big fat compliment from my boss about it today.
