how do you "switch teams in a second?" You're kind of either on a team or you're not. Plus having experience with the same sex doesn't mean you are on Team Gay. I think in order to be on Team Gay you need to be sexually and relationship/emotionally attracted to the same gender.

i just watched it. i loooove ellen. but not in a switch teams kind of way, not at all. i just want to be besties with her. i think she'd be so much fun. she never fails to make me smile (even when i'm on day 3 of feeling like death on the couch).

I think people on any Team would be sort of offended that you think switches can be "momentary". Like a phase or something. There are a couple of women that I lust over, but I think if it actually came down to it, I wouldn't be able to follow through. I'm kind of thinking it's the same with you.

I loved Ellen and her show for the first few seasons, but I'm actually over her. I loved that she won all the emmy's but now it feels like overkill. I used to totally look forward to her show every day but I stopped watching a season or two ago. I'm watching her on Oprah now on dvr. I like her, I've just been finding her a little annoying because I think she's so predictable. Sort of like Jerry Seinfeld. They have a certain pattern to their jokes/pattern of speech that just gets so predictable. I am interested in the portion of the interview with Ellen & Portia. THAT is interesting to me.

I don't understand the Sweden comment, unless you've all decided to drive Volvos and decorate your homes with light colored wood furniture that you can put together with nothing more than an allen wrench. Maybe you meant Switzerland?

Christin- I just watched too and felt the same way. I had goosebumps the same way I did when I watched it on Ellen's own show last year. Watching that though, makes me sick that there are people who watched/watching who have issue with it. I just don't get it. I just watched two people in love. I didn't sit there thinking, ugh, it's TWO WOMEN. I was actually thinking, "Wow, look how in love they look and I have to find out what that song was..."

Have we learned nothing from that Bill O'Reilly/Jessica Alba tussle? Sweden was neutral too! I always forget about this fact! Thank you for reminding me. Regardless, when I hear Sweden I think first of furniture, then of cars, then of universal health care/very high taxes. I rarely, if ever, get to neutrality.

I agree TSD, it was a beautiful wedding and song, I am as much of mush as Christin for romance.J&J, I thought I was the only one who noticed how uncomforatble Oprah was, it seemed forced on her end.

IF the song is the same one that was played on her show with the video it is by Joshua Radin. She played both Closer and Today. Closer was my favorite. I totally missed her on Oprah today, I'm a huge Ellen fan.
