I Need Monogram Help!!!

So, I have a little dilemma. I want to start designing my monogram, but my new last name is 2 words! My FI is Dutch, and has the typical "Van" as the first word of his last name. When he writes his initials, he doesn't use his middle initial at all, and uses both letters of his last name ("VP") instead. I have always used my middle initial, so this will take some getting used to! But now I don't know what to do for my monogram!! Do I use just the "V" for our last name, or do I use both the "VP". I guess I've never seen a monogram done with two letters for a last name, so I don't know what I should do. Any suggestions would be awesome!!!

The beauty of you designing it is that you can do whatever you want.  Personally, I would do the VP but that's just my preference.  Play around with it and see what you like the best.

Some people use the bride and groom's first names and the date as well so that may be an option.

    Good luck!

If you really want to use your new last name, I guess I'd go with just the V.  Technically, his last name starts with V, so that makes sense to me.  But first names, or first name initials, are also a great idea.  I'm not taking FI's name, so that's what I'm doing!
