1 Dress or 2...

Is anyone actually having more than one dress for their wedding...like one for the ceremony and one for the reception?? I already bought my dress and I luuuurve her, but after Court posted about getting a custom dress last week at cost, I was one of the people to get in on that deal if I choose to accept. When I first bought my dress I was torn between two style...the ballgown (which I got) and something lacey (like Vicki;s dress). The company doing the custom dresses will make me the lacey dress for $300. Now I am debating whether to take them up on the offer, but think it might be too frivolous. So--just wondering if anyone else is wearing 2 dresses?

That's what I was thinking too Jaime... I never would have even considered this if the price hadn't been so ridiculously inexpensive! Darn my obsession with sales and good deals!

Just one. I figure you spend soooo much on this one dress you will never wear again, might as well wear it the whole night.

I'm doing two.I want to be able to dance at the reception, yet I want the big dress for the ceremony with the cathedral train and all. Yes, you can fold it, but I don't exactly dig that. You're not alone!

I am only wearing one, but if I could get another one that would be easier to dance in, for a great price I would prob do it.  I say go for it!

I'm doing one that I'll be wearing for the ceremony and reception, but I do want to get a short one for the afterparty. I still want it to look wedding - like though.

I'm having two.  I wanted a dress that was "bridal" enough for the ceremony, but light enough to wear and dance for the reception. But I wound up getting the traditional princess dress.  Then I went with my mom to AA to look for a dress for her, and saw their little white dresses, and fell in love.  My mom bought my original dress, so she made me promise that I would wear it most of the evening.  I'll probably change once the dancing really gets started.

I love my dress so much, I'm only doing one! Originally I was going to have 2, but I went waaaaay over-budget! (Totally worth it!)
