But I'm starting to really like Michael Buble's "Everything"- Does this song have any special meaning to you and your FI? He actually woke me up the day we were engaged with the Lifehouse song and roses :)

We never had a “song” I asked my FI to pick a song he liked and wanted to dance to – he gave me three choices and this was the winner.

DH always goes around the house singing this to me (but often replacing the words "I love you baby" with "I love you and my name" which is really cute) - anyways the words just seemed to be perfect for our first dance

This is all we have really thought of so, guessing it will be this! haha- Does this song have any special meaning to you and your FI? Its simple and cute I think and talks about growing old together so we like that.

1. ha! we're still working on that! We took a Merengue lesson last night that left FI very frustrated.2. We're not sure what we're going to do, but it's most likely gonna be a mash-up, starting and ending with Patience by GnR. It's not going to be a 'surprise' where the music scratches and we act like we didn't plan. It's just going to flow one song into the next like it ain't no thang.

We'll throw in a little merengue to Suavemente by Elvis Crespo, and probably 'Get Ready for This" by 2Unlimite--spirit fingers!!3. No, they're just goofy songs we like. We don't have a 'song' per se, and the ones that are more romantic that we like aren't really exciting--we don't just want to spin in circles for 3 minutes.

We both wanted something that truly reflected us and our relationship. The song is about how the other makes you forget about all the chaos and problems in life, and that is how we feel about eachother.

I asked FI if he had any suggestions (thinking the answer would be no and then I'd just pick one), but he named this song without even hesitating. He's not a very sappy guy but he cries every time we listen to it together.

When we were in the beginning stages of dating, he told me he had just 'updated his myspace song' on his page and he wanted to see what I thought. So when I looked on his page and began listening to the song, I just completely melted and the tears started flowing!!! IT was really that song that made me realize that we were completely falling in love with eachother.... (cute- minus the old school myspace part AHAHah)

Everyone loved it, it's a classic rock song with a great message.

Jayson immediately looked at me and said he thought that should be our wedding song. I loved that he felt so strongly about it and that it is such a classic song.

Oh! This is such a sweet post! I love how special each song is to the couple. Ours was a song my grandfather wrote back in the 1950s. It was a great idea, but it really, really made me cry!

N/A - Does this song have any special meaning to you and your FI - It didn't at the time, other than it was one of the only songs we both REALLY liked. It was a little slower than we would have liked, but you didn't even notice that on the big day. Now I love the song and we hum it all the time. It's very old time romantic, which was very much fit into our wedding!

What is (was) your first dance song? Not sure yet, but we are toying with a few! If you haven't decided yet, what are your choices? True Companion by Marc Cohn will most likely be our song. We keep coming back to it, and it seems to be the one that we both like equally. Other favorites include: Only You Can Love Me This Way by Keith Urban. This is my top choice. The words are so perfect! My brother and his wife danced to Follow Through by Gavin DeGraw and I loved it! I had never heard it until their wedding, but it is a great song and I listen to it all the time now!

Ours will be "My Love" by Paul McCartney and Wings. It does have a bit of a special meaning to us. My fiance is a huge Beatles fan (as am I) and just as big of a fan of Paul's solo stuff.

We watch concerts on DVD/BluRay and this was always one of our favorites. He told me one night how Paul and Linda McCartney had a relationship that people could look up to. That they had a real partnership and friendship and loved eachother more then most couples ever could.

He then looked at me and took my hand and said "You are my Linda McCartney and our relationship will always be wonderful because of who you are and what you mean to me"

So now, when we hear this song we look at eachother and sing the part of the chourus "My Love Does it Good" to eachother and smile.
