I'm here. My roommate and his girlfriend are apparently hosting a dinner party, and the other couple has kids. I, of course, had no idea said dinner party was occurring, and really don't feel like "getting ready" to go downstairs for dinner.So I'm up in my room. In pj's. Starving. Oh, and listening to little kids scream at each other.I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE.

Man, I was hoping when Dh got home he'd entertain me. He has fallen asleep on the couch with his head propped in his hand while watching football. He's had to work 10am until 1am every day up until today. Today he had to work 7am until 8pm. Tomorrow its back to 10am to 1am.His next day off is Sunday the week after tomorrow.Poor Dh.

hahahah Georgia_bride that's funny. I'm in these giant flannel pajama pants right now that i've had for about 10 years and I'm dying to pee but i'm too comfortable on our chair/ottoman to get up and actually go. I'm sure my bladder will thank me later.

I was thinking of putting on a really slutty night gown and scampering down there just to see the look on their faces. BUT I think I'm just going to sneak out and go to Subway.

I would just walk down there and get food anways, but I was always the passive aggressive roomie.One of my crazy roommates had a room connected to the kitchen. She was constantly having really loud sex that everyone in the 8 bedroom house could hear and it was really uncomfortable. The other roomies paid me $20 to go into the kitchen and start banging pots and pans really loudly until she stopped.

Hi everyone. We just got back from a movie and dinner at Fogo de Chao. I am in a meat coma.Also, you all need to go see the new Coen brothers movie, "A Serious Man." It was excellent and I don't know why it's in such limited release.

Service was probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant. We showed up early for our reservation and still didn't have to wait, and we seriously didn't have to ask for anything--they were always refilling stuff, offering things, etc. It was awesome.The food was mostly awesome--there were some huge standouts, like the bacon-wrapped chicken and the fried bananas, but a few of the meats were a little oversalted. The salad bar had some really great options too. I had wine and it was also really good. Today has really been an excellent day, between the new glasses and getting wedding bands and the movie and dinner. And now we're watching Gilmore Girls. Life is good.
