Beach Pics in Winter in Newport?

Do you have any suggestions which beach/ which area would be cute for pics Dec. 19th?  We are going to brave the weather and try to do some pics on the beach outside.  All my girls are going to bring their winter boots in case of snow...my photog has done it before and it's cute and whimsical.  Photog is not from Newport tho, so asking your advice on where to take pics!  :)

    my first suggestion would be Ocean Drive....then maybe the carousel/beach area near the Atlantic Beach Club.  Is this your wedding day or just pre wed pics?

    This is our wedding day...which do you think would be better?  We don't have a lot of day light time, as our ceremony is at 2-3, and then the sun sets at around 4:30...so we have to get there and take pics before it gets really dark.  We're coming from a ceremony in Portsmouth...
