makeup artist recommendations

I am looking for someone that is really good to do my hair and makeup. I know that a lot of people use Karen C. but she is booked on my wedding date. I am in Atlantic County area and would prefer someone that does airbrush makeup. Any suggestions would be very helpful!

I know someone who had their makeup done by the Macy's people... not sure if it was MAC or Clinique... at the Hamilton Mall.

a girlfriend of mine hired a MAC girl from the makeup counter for her big day - i can see if i can get her name for you, or you can go to the MAC store/counter and ask if the girls do any work on the side - they did a great job, came with EVERYTHING including lashes - and i believe she was like $75 pp about. you can go to the mall near you and more than likely those girls will be local for you!

I'm having my hair and makeup done by meggieriess, who I met on this board!  As long as your not getting married on my date - 9/5/10 - maybe give her a page and ask her about it.  Not sure if she does airbrush makeup or not.

I know several people who have used the following for their weddings, and I am too. They are Peg jubb & Gena hoban and they come to your home to do hair and make0-up for the wedding party. 856-983-2916

As pp's said I would look into MAC consultants. A lot of them do weddings on the side and will come to your house. I am using a MAC consultant who is my cousin’s best friend. She is cutting me an amazing deal on airbrush make up. Another option you can call around to local salons in your area and see if any of their employees come out on the side. Places I looked into that I'm not sure if they would travel to Atlantic county are Moments Salon in Mt. Laurel and Tranquility salon in Voorhees. You can always doa trial run and make sure you like it then take it from there. GL!

I used Lisa Green for my make-up. She is an independent make-up artist that comes to you. Her email is lgreen1225 at comcast dot net. We were all very happy with our make up!I can't help with hair because we went to a local salon in Marlton, but I would try asking your regular stylist if he/she does wedding hair on the side, or if they know of anyone who does.Good Luck!

OOH use my lady!! Laura Sample - she did airbrush makeup and i LOVED her! my wedding was over 2 years ago, but i just recommended her to my best friend who just got engaged.if you are looking for airbrush, go with Laura, you'll LOVE her. i literally had a nightmare looking for a makeup artist. i tried like 3 or 4 people and did not like what they did so it was a miracle to find Laura. her prices were extremely reasonable.i think her website is www.thelaurasample.com but i can't remember exactly. good luck!!!
