Save the Date enclosure card question

We are doing a save the date magnet with normal stuff...names, location, date, formal invite to follow and website. In addition, for people who may not have access to a computer or just not go on the website to get accommodation info we are doing a seperate enclosure card to let guests know we blocked rooms and where to call. We also put "for more info about the wedding, etc please visit our website" So my question is, do I need to put specific times of the ceremony or reception on that enclosure card? Or does that wait till the invite? Its on our website but I wondering if timing will change people's decisions about how many nights to stay. Thanks!

    if you know, it cant hurt to put it.a morning wedding, for example, would for me require either no hotel or a friday night hotel.  a night wedding would surely require the saturday nigth hotel.that said, tho, folks can always book both nights, and most places you have 24 hours to cancel.

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     Is it at an unusual time? I expect weddings to be in the evening and plan accordingly. I would not put the time down (also, it could change - half an hour one way or the other). If it's a morning wedding, I'd mention "morning ceremony" because that would affect when I plan to be in town. Example: I went to a Friday wedding a few weeks ago and go into town around 1pm after flying/driving there.

    Its a 2pm Mass and 5pm cocktails on a Saturday so not any extraordinary times. Its all on the website too if people want to find out so I guess I wont put it...thanks ladies. Oh and I have been on here a year and have not gotten spam yet. I know my name sucks but i dont want to lose all my saved stuff

    you are going to have a 2 hour gap.  i would fix that ASAP, even if it means doing a morning wedding or finding an alternate reception location.

    Yes I am going to have a 2 hour gap and it wont be fixed, its a Catholic Mass. I have things set up for guests to do and they will be on a huge resort on the Cape, tons to do anyway. I have been going to weddings with gaps my whole life and they are always fine.

    a catholic mass does not mean you have to have a gap. and i did answer your question, but then you mentioned the gap.  figured id spare you some headaches down the road.

    I actually did not notice you posted earlier...so sorry about that.   But if you want a formal evening wedding, it means you a have to have a gap. No headaches though, my mom rented a villa and is having a pre-cocktail party.
