My birthday was yesterday and my FI and I went to Cataline Island. Since we are preparing for half dome, we needed to fit in a hike.....and oh what a hike it was! We did a 10 mile hike in the noon heat. I think I almost got heat stroke! I drank my full 3 liter camelbak during it! It was quite an accomplishment though! Then we took our snorkle gear down and went snorkling, which was like 60 degree water! haha Oh well, it was great fun and non-stop action. And at least I got my free ferry ride and free ice cream at one of the shops!! I'm pretty sure I would be content with vegging today, but we need to at least go do tux shopping.
