Marriage Certificate?

For those of you already married in cook county - did you mail in the request for the marriage certificate? If so, how long did it take?

I was thinking of putting the request in the mail before we leave for the honeymoon - any chance the certificate will be there when we arrive home?

    I ordered mine online on July 14th and received them on July 19th. There was an extra $12 fee for doing it online but the convenience and quickness was worth it to me.

    I just waited till I got home, went to the place downtown to pick it up and had it that day. I waited 3 weeks until after our wedding. It was only $4 a copy in person, I ordered like 4.

    I just ordered mine at a currency exchange out of convenience. The total was only $20 (much cheaper than online).
