Well, from my own bubble: I recommend Beloved, but it's the kind of book where you have to trust the author... takes about 3/4ths of the way in to appreciate it.As far as Oprah and Palin, don't think it would change your mind regardless of what side of politics you are on.On my side, Oprah was... ahem... soft.... ahem,but I'm one of those liberals....

Met FI through one of my BM's, actually. We had a Keg four years ago, and the rest is history. Don't let anyone tell you you can't meet people at parties :)Have been dating FI for three and a half years.He is a wine maker, I am finishing my BA in English Lit in December.I'm am an undergrad student at this point, entering the MA program next fall.

Neither, I'm in the central valley (clovis) and FI is on the central coast.

I'm here and at work as well I don't care about Palin or Oprah so no thoughts on that Haven't read Beloved but I need a new book so I might give it a shot My inspection on my car is overdue and I told the guy at the kwik kar that I only have enough money to get the oil changed or the inspection done. I do have enough money I just don't want to pay $40 for it when I can go outside of Houston and get it done for $15
