Who is having/had their hair done at a salon the day of? How far was it from your venue or where you will be getting ready?I'm not sure I want to have my hair done at a salon or the hotel I'll be getting ready at. I'll be having my makeup done at the hotel that day. The hair stylists I've looked at require a minimum amount of people to travel. I know it's still early but I don't think I'll be having the minimum to travel.

    I am getting mine done at a salon.  The place is about 20 min from where I am getting dressed.  I am having my make-up and hair done there.  We are also bringing in stuff for breakfast (and mimosas :-) for the morning of.

    my backup was a salon right down the road from my venue, where i was getting ready.  she could have either come to the venue, or i'd go to her.  my min. was 3 ppl to travel; im sure you'd have that!  can you say you think you'll have 5 if that is the min. and then closer to say you only have 4?  i'm all about lying when necessary (kidding?)...

    I had 11 girls getting their hair done, so I went to a salon about 15 minutes away so we could have 3 stylists working on us. A makeup artist back at the hotel worked the entire time- it takes longer to do hair than makeup.

    My girls and I will be getting our hair done at a the salon. It is about 5 mins from my Mom's (where I will be getting dressed).

    my sister and i got ours done at the salon....it is maybe, 20 minutes from my house (where we were getting ready)...i just went to my regular hair girl....who is also a friend of mine....she told me that its honestly easier for her to do hair at the salon then at someone's house (because all her stuff is where it needs to be....)

    I think I'll try to find a salon in the area or get it done at salon by my house. This way I don't have to worry about having enough girls to get someone to travel.

    I'll likely go to a place in town ... I was planning to get it done at my regular salon but now I think I want to try some other places. There's a ton of hairdressers in my area but really nobody who's recommended here for makeup, so I can go local for hair but I already booked a makeup artists to come to us. I only have two BMs and I doubt my mom would get her hair done, so IDK if I could even meet a traveling hairdresser's minimum.
