Venue Type - Theatre/Movie Theatre

Hi Knotties!

Just wondering if anyone knows of any venues in LV that are movie theatre venues or old theatre style?

Thanks :)

Unless I missed it, I didn't see anything there.

  • :( i googled came up empty the closest i got was a theatre at the tropicana hotel maybe check that
  • It might be worth contacting one of the wedding planners in Vegas. I am assuming that they have a very extensive knowledge of the area and might know specialty venues like that. I am SURE that there would have to be an old movie theatre that you could rent!

  • Sometimes resorts that have shows will do special events in their theaters on the shows' off day, but that's of course always going to be a week day.

I know it's not a theater, but check out the Mob Museum, they have some unique rooms and perhaps they could set something up that would work for you:  http://themobmuseum.org/groups-private-events/special-events/

The building has been kept to the 1950's decor from when it was a court house.

  • there's a drive in theatre on the north side of town, I believe there's still a united artist theater by the MGM, although I haven't been to the that side of the strip in ages so I could be wrong. I've heard of a fancy type theater somewhere in town but not sure where.  Also I know Boulder City has a small theater never been inside but it looks old type style from the outside.

  • Thanks everyone... I guess the Madame T wax museum is also an option, or a movie themed suite (I guess that is MGM or PH???)... I was wondering if I can go that route, FI and I went to the same high school but funny enough, we met in a movie theatre.
  • I know that Planet Hollywood has some movie themed suites.... sorry I can't be of more help!

  • Also, there is a theatre in the Palms run by Brenden Theatres.  I have no idea if they do weddings, but here is their website with an email at the bottom for their contact person:

PH definitely has the theme going so that would be an option.  If you don't care about the resort being non-gaming, check out Elara too, some of their large suites have projectors with 8 foot screens so you could easily recreate a movie theater theme with just some added decor:
