What color shoes go with...

Okay- so my dress is actually "champagne" colored... with a beaded/understated bling beaded top and the same type of beading at the bottom of the dress.

I know that I can get a dyeable shoe- but am not sure if I like the look of a "champagne" shoe. It seems like it will just blend in when seen. My wedding consultant suggested a silvery strappy shoe.

I'm not sure how that would look- but I know that I want a 3 inch peep-toe...but what matches champagne?

If you wore a blue shoe, people would say "oh that's her something blue" ... I don't think the color of the shoes is a big deal if it's really different from the dress. Just don't go too close to the dress color, or else you risk it not matching. (or get it re-dyed if you want it exact).

My colors were originally just going to be chcolate brown and pink (a lighter/muted pink- not a bright or neaon color). I was going with very soft colors- and then I saw these chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses with a champagne colored sash under the breasts so I am going with those and using the pink as an accent color.

I never thought about a brown shoe- but that is something to think about. I guess I just thought it would be too dark and dreary (no idea what my reasoning is) because always assumed I would wear a shoe in a shade of white.

I did think about a blue heel for the "something blue" but then started thinking of silver after the consultant suggested it..but now I am just not sure...
Woudl silverly metalic just be a nightmare with that color do you think?

My dress is champagne and I'm going with dark puple shoes. I think blue would look better than silver IMO.

Yah- I am thinking that the silver may not be a great choice. I think I just got excited at the thought of having sparkly silver shoes...sparkly things always distract me!
