I got married April 30th here in Albuquerque to the most amazing man ever, and I thought I’d share some reviews! Hope this helps

Ceremony Venue: Sombra Del Monte Christian Church A+ I grew up in this church so I may be biased, but this church is sooo beautiful, and the Pastor is great! They let us set up Wednesday for a Sat wedding and everyone was very helpful! They also will let nonmembers get married here if anyone needs a ceremony space. They only charge around 350.00 for nonmembers to use the space. Reception Venue: The Inn at Paradise Bed and Breakfast A+ Our reception was outside in a gorgeous garden. We rented out the entire bed and breakfast and had 120 people out in the garden, with lots of extra space, even with a sit down dinner. The owners do not speak English too well, but they are very nice and accommodating. They have a wedding planner, Diana who speaks English and is incredibly helpful! She responded immediately to all of my emails and calls, and helped work with our budget. They are a family owned business, and I highly recommend them! Photographer: Kevins Photography B We went with a basic package for 600.00 from Kevin’s that included all of the rights to all the pictures taken. Chris Saddler was our photographer. He took 540 pictures for us in 4 hours which was awesome! My only complaint is that I told him I hate posed pictures, and he kept telling us exact poses to be in. I was getting very annoyed with that! Overall he is a great photographer though and we have some awesome shots! Dress: Ceremony dress Bridal Palace (Tulsa, OK) D Reception Dress- Brides by Demettrios A+ The only reason I got a reception dress was because the Bridal Palace messed up my dress so bad in the alterations. I would never recommend the Bridal Palace to anyone, I paid them over 2000.00 and had several sets of alterations done, and I still had to take my dress elsewhere to be fixed. The lady who finally fixed it is here in Rio Rancho and only charged me 80.00. Her name is Sharon, and her number is 892-8342. Shes awesome!Brides by Demetrios were awesome as well! Very accommodating, and helpful towards my situation! I would definitely recommend them! Hair and Makeup: Jon Ric A+ (505)888-3305 Sarah did my hair and makeup, and she was amazing!! It lasted ALL night long, even after getting cake smeared in my face and jumping in the hot tub! Their prices are very reasonable as well and they use MAC makeup! Cake: Kara (Previous owner of ABC cakes) A+++ (505)417-7934 Kara makes the best cake I have ever tasted in my entire life!! She makes everything from scratch, and charges such great prices!! She can do so many different designs and flavors! We are going to call her every time we need a cake from now on! She also delivers to Santa Fe!! Catering: Lee Riley A+ Lee is Kara’s brother and they both do amazing work!! (505)417-7934 We had enchiladas and they were sooo good that even with quite a bit extra we ran out! That was after everyone had 2-3 servings LOL He was very well priced too! DJ: Dennis A (505) 814-4212 Dennis is just starting out in his new DJ business, but he did an awesome job! He was extremely attentive and on top of things! He had our entire 6 hours of music layed out before the wedding to make sure he was on the right track with songs we wanted to hear! Florist: La Bella Florist B They did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids flowers, but my bouquet was not how we talked about.. It was still pretty, just not what they said it would be… The prices was ok, pretty in the middle of other florists. Honeymoon: Sandals Antigua A++ (Already booked to go back!) We had an AMAZING time at Sandals!!! It’s completely all inclusive and absolutely gorgeous! The food was great and the staff is very attentive! You can do as much or as little as you want! We had a fabulous time and cannot wait to go back!!
