the groomsmen suit debacle

So with all our wedding party out of town we were in a situation where we had to ship out both the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen suits.

The bridesmaids all got their dresses, emailed me the same day and told me they had tried them on.  They all fit but would need minor alterations, no big deal.

I have sent out the groomsmen suits, NONE of them confirmed they got them, so last night FI has had to call, and the common response is "ya, its in my closet, haven't tried it on"...uh, can ya try it on please??? 
One of them hasn't gotten it, so I go online and track the package and it was delivered over a week ago. He is going to check at his buildings front desk today, but I am freaking out...I thought suits would look so nice, but if they don't fit the guys its going to look terrible.

    I hate to say it but I think that is totally typical. I know if FI was in that situation, it would probably still be in the box it shipped in until he was ready to pack it for the wedding weekend, unless I MADE him try it on.

    our GMs were dummies, too.  love them all, but seriously so clueless about this sort of thing!  2 out of 8 guys were on top of things....1 is married and the other is engaged, so they had some idea of what this experience is like.  it will all come together- you have PLENTY of time. be firm and polite and threaten if necessary =)

    its a guy thing sadly. We have been all over our groomsmen to go get fitted and they dont seem to care that they havent. One of them planned to go the week of! and in reality he would probably be fine but I WONT BE!
