Intercontinental Hotel - Boston

Has anyone held a wedding here, or have any experience with them? I'm considering them for an Oct 2010 wedding - wondering how flexible/helpful they are.

We were actually interested in this venue as well when we had started our search.  However, after emailing twice and leaving a voicemail and getting no response we gave up!  Hopefully you have better luck as it is a gorgeous hotel and a great location!

I also requested information from them and it took them forever to send it to me.  We ultimately decided to get married in Newport so by the time they sent me the information it was irrelevant.

I have stayed at several Intercontinental hotels over the years and they are generally a great hotel company so I would think they would put on a nice wedding.  But, with that said, it probably would be frustrating to plan a wedding with a hotel that is not good at communicating!!

We looked there.  The package looks reasonable per person, but they had a high minimum.  I can't remember the exact $ amount, though.  The day we are getting married they were having another wedding in a separate floor/ballroom. They seemed to make a point of making sure your paths didn't cross, but something to think about.
