Hello ladies and gent!

     I can't believe today is the 1 year mark!  I thought that time would pass by as slow as a snail, but it has been flying by.  I want to thank everyone for all the helpful tips, info and advice and opinions. 

Next on my list of things to do is add to the guest list.  I am looking at save the dates which I should mail 6-9 months before hand, right?  I was thinking I would send them at the 9 month mark.  Then the invites I will mail out 8 weeks before or is that too soon?

    CONGRATS!!! It will fly by!! I sent my  Save the dates out at the 8 month mark, and then I sent my invites at the 5 month mark... I wanted to make sure people who were going could get cheap flights...  =) Everything worked out great!

    congrats date twin! good luck with the guest list and STDs! just sent mine out last week, which i know is super early, but it lets everyone know the exact date (FI and i have been engaged a long time so people already kinda know)

    I sent my s-t-ds at the 10 month mark. Just be sure your are 100% positive on anyone you send them to. STD = invited. No changing your mind.


    Also double check with your parents on their guests. My dad just added 6 more people he wants invited AND told me that 4 of his guests didn't really need to be invited, but they were on the list that I sent STDs to. So I'm out of luck!

    Yeah!  Congrats to you too!  We've been engaged for 8 months at the end of the month.  Where are you having your reception?  I'm not sure I ever saw.  Time is a flying...

    Congrats to the 1 year girls!!!  So exciting :)

    I'm planning to send STDs around the 6 month mark, but I've already alerted a lot of people that flights/hotels will be ready to book soon.  I'm lucky since we have a pretty small guest list, so we talk a lot via email/phone/in person about plans.

    isint it so exciting? ahh so happy its starting to feel real!
    were looking to do a reception insuite at mandalay bay or thehotel, im hoping to have everything all settled in august. any more recent checks? i'm trying to find cute jewelry and someone for hair and makeup right now :)
