    Sorry, I really have never meant to visit Florida, the only thing that could bring me there would be you and Shay.

    And I have no vacation time left that isnt put aside for grandbaby. October/Nov is husbands busy season.

    Yup KD, I know it sounds perfectly nuts to hate pedicures. They just plain feel weird and tickly to me. The best part is without going intto nasty details, I get roughly one per month because my heels/feet are, well just plain to bad to work with much at home alone. They need a pro's touch. Have since I was a rail - thin teenager and no foot Dr. could ever tell me what the deal was. Thanks to those nasty pedicures, I can wear sandles without shame and not make DH sick around the house.

    I've never had a pedi - too ticklish, and I have weird pinky toenails (they're really small). I usually just pumice, lotion and polish, but when I need some extra tlc, I put vaseline on the heels and dry spots and put on some thick socks.

    Tough day at work today. Between the student death on the weekend (the funeral is this weekend coming) and finding out that one of my students is being removed from their abusive home, it's been a stressful week for everyone.

    On a positive note, I'm 11 lbs from my goal and have gone through my old fitness journals. I've actually lost 45lbs already, not 40! Now I'm convinced I can do it.

    Shesh, wish I could do the book event. I miss going to things like that.
