I dont know if there is much to flame this week, but I figured we should do it anyway since when we skip a week, shiit gets tense.

Mine is lame. I flame LC for disappearing. I miss her sass and want her to come back.

This isn't a huge deal, but I'm irritated that Yaga won't change her HUGE HG signature. I realize that it looks fine in other browsers, but it distorts the entire window in IE and I can't exactly open a service desk ticket to download Firefox at work because "I can't read my wedding forums properly without it."

After she was all "I make no apologies" about it yesterday, I just went ahead and blocked her -- not because I don't like her, but because that hugely obnoxious signature takes up half of my screen and forces the sidebars to wrap themselves around it. It distracts from the conversation and makes me kind of batty.

Celles- I agree. When I mentioned it to her and she was all "Well whatever, its cause you use IE" I was turned off.

Also, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the influx of drive-by posters starting threads, maybe even participating for a little bit in the thread , and then never coming back? That annoys me to no end.

I flame Knot Annie for only saying good bye to one board. I really seriously wonder what her job has to be like. Does she talk about ridiculous message board conversations to her IRL friends?

There was someone who got called out for doing that, but I can't remember who it was or on which board...for some reason I keep thinking it might have been her though.

Or, maybe I'm just losing my mind. That's a definite possibility too.

I want you to be the first to know that this will be my last week at The Knot. I've had nearly five wonderful years at this company, and you have been a huge part of my great experience. There was not a moderator program when I started, and it has been a huge part of the success of our boards. I cannot thank you enough for all that you do for our community.

Unfortunately, we no longer have the ability to post to all boards on TK, but I'm sure the news will travel. I may even do an "Ask Me Anything" on one of the popular boards before I leave on Friday.

I don't understand the problems people have with sigs. Squishy or blurry pics, huge pics, centering issues. How hard is it to put a damn sig in, I've had like 200 and never had issues.

The HG sig is huge because of IE? I was wondering why it was fvcking up my screen. I refuse to use anything other than IE at work because other programs make our system/program look weird on the screen and I can't stand it.

I personally hate IE, but that's because I'm a web developer.

I know people have to use it at their jobs and I blame their IT departments for that, not them.

But if many people have complained that your sig is obnoxiously huge, you should probably try to figure out how to fix it or just take it down.

Every time I've had a problem with a sig, I just take it down till I can fix it. Now I just use tinypic. This is going to be a P&R bc I have to head out to work and won't have access to TK for a few hours at the beginning of my shift, but if this is still going I might jump back in.
