My videographer went out of business!

Just found out today via email that my videographer is going out of business. Please recommend your videographer. I'm looking to spend no more than $800 if possible.

Martin's Video. I think their popular package (which is the middle one) was 895. They definitely had at least 1 lower priced one.

I used Martin's as well as many other girls on here and have nohing but good things to say about them.

Life Images- videography package is $900. We are using them for video and photo. viewed several DVDs in entirety and they are great!

ditto martin's. and their payment schedule will probably be helpful for you. only $95 down, then half 30 days before your wedding and the rest when you pick up the video.

I am booking with Persempre Videos. He does such wonderful work and isn't that much more than you want to spend. He has a cinematography style.

i dealt with them primarily by email, only meeting with them when picking up my video and I went to their SJ office, but could have had my video shipped to the NE Philly office. I just wanted it quicker!

I just can't help but wonder how many other brides are now scrambling to find a videographer because they listened to you and booked this clown.

Give us some good news and at least tell us he's giving you back your deposit.

I have to concur with the others and say Martin's is your best bet. They may not be as cheap as your guy, but they are probably the cheapest option with the longest history in business. When it comes to your wedding it's not a good idea to fool around with no name jerks.

Martin's is in Mays Landing, not far from you. You can probably make an in-person visit to see their work and discuss package options.

I cant view any of Martin's videos because of the format on their website :-P

OK, everyone (including Angel):

I am getting my deposit back; he mailed it by certified mail and even emailed me the tracking number. He is not a clown nor a jerk; he was an honest businessman who had financial difficulties for whatever reason and had to close his doors. If he was truly evil, he wouldn't have ever notified me, but he did.

um, don't you think its a little ridiculous and dramatic to call someone the devil on the interwebz? you are the one that comes off looking like a psycho. now note, i am not calling you names, just sayin' for the record that you can give off that vibe.

i don't believe she's a biitch. i believe she has her opinions and they come across bluntly, but it's all in how you to take them. since you are a bit dramatic and sensitive, you believe she's out to get you. maybe take it down a notch. just sayin'.

Jessica, do me a favor: don't judge me. You don't know me, just as I don't know you. OK, you had a point, so I removed the "devil" reference. And for the record, Angel 33284 has verbally attacked me several times on this board as well as the South Jersey board for my choice of videographer and I wasn't going to just put up with it. She doesn't just "give opinions"; she puts down people and their choices, and I've seen her do it to other brides as well. No one deserves that.

When we make a decision on who to use the last thing we want is another bride to put doubts in our minds that we made the right choice. You have badmouthed several bride's vendors, including most recently Kenneth Stillman Video, who you actually went out of your way to save, copy and paste a link to a complaint against him. This has also happened with Marc Anthony, whom some have trashed even though MANY brides have said they are 100% happy with him.</div><div>

Look who's talking. You did exactly this to me! You weren't trying to help me; you were trying to humiliate me for a choice I made, as if you never made a mistake in your life.

And, for the record, other people made those posts about Kenneth Stillman, so when a bride asked about him, I showed her the opinions of OTHERS so that she would know what was being said by MANY other brides. OF course I have no firsthand knowledge of him; I was simply showing her what other people said. Maybe you need to be the one to get a life and stop trashing other people's choices, esp. since you're already married.

No, you trashed my choice way before I showed that bride quotes from other brides, which I clearly didn't deserve. I never badmouthed anybody; I just showed another bride examples of what OTHER BRIDES said. Showing examples of what other people have said about someone isn't a crime.
