I do not plan on having a limo or car.

Most of the bridal party is married (or has a significant other), and children. I totally trust them all to arrive at the church before the ceremony with their spouse/children. I have found it is sometimes more of a pain to have to be driven to the "meet up point" for the limo - cause if I drove myself, my car would then be at the getting ready location (house, hotel, etc.) which is then no where near the end of the day point (the reception venue) which then requires another trip back to get my car.

I'm sure my writing is confusing - but I'm thinking that each person in the bridal party can meet at the church with their family, in their own car. From the church, they can drive to the reception venue together. Bridal party pictures will be taken at the reception venue, and there is an hour gap from end of church service to start of reception. That will leave some spouses/children hanging for a bit, but not very long. If any bridesmaids want to come to my house for getting ready, all would be welcome. Also, my home, church and reception venue all each within 5 minutes of each other.

Leaving the church, one of my bridesmaids has a mercedes convertible and has let us drive her car to the reception. We will decorate it with a sign of some sort. She will then drive my car from the church to the reception, and at the end of the afternoon, we will switch cars.

So, I don't think that limos are necessary.
