Hello Brides,

Question for you.  I'm searching for a DJ and the first quote I received was for $1200.  Needless to say I wasn't expecting a dj to cost this much. 

Is this average for a vegas dj?  Or should I keep searching?

Any recommendations are welcome!

    HI,

    I did some research on this as well and many of the DJs that were advertising on vendor sites were around $750 and up. However, you can find good DJs on Craigslist as well. One of the brides on this board found a great DJ for around $400 on Craigslist and she loved him.

    We're paying $1200 for 5 hours.  We didn't really research and are using Mandalay Bay's preferred DJ Knight Sounds.  I'm happy so far because our coordinator told us we can make a giant request list and they will download all of the songs and have them available.

    Try www.lasvegasdj.net We are using them and they arent even close to $1200. They seem very easy to work with, we are using them in 26 days..yikes!
