So i have picked three out of the fours girls to be in my WP and I know that your suppose to wait, but I just couldn't, I'm so happy to have these ladies stand next to me. I"m a little unsure of the fourth girl I have two in mind, one is a good friend who i've known for over 10 years and the other is my cousin, my friend just had a baby so I'm not even sure if she would be able to be in the WP since babies are alot to take care of, and I would totally understand if she backed out, and I don't want her to feel like she has to say yes just because I was her BM, whether shes up there next to me or as a guest it would still mean a lot to me. has anyone here ever asked someone and they said no and if so did you have a "back up" I hate to say it like that.

    I would not see it as bad to have a back up. But don't ask the back up now. First ask the initial BM, if she declines then you have free rein to call in back up. Plus, I think everyone has back ups. One of my friends was harassing one her BM our mutual friend to get the dress. It was almost a month to the wedding and the appointed BM said she Couldn't do it. But on the day of, her wedding party was complete. I bet she had a back up. I didn't want to ask because I felt like I was in the middle.
