Good morning, everyone. This week has been ZOOMING by, as is always the case when I have the week off. BUT, my stairs are finally complete, the wall that I ripped out in the basement to stop the water seeping through and growing mold is complete, I got the sheetrock up on the laundry room wall and 2 coats of joint compound put on, the floor in 2 closets tiled, one room downstairs has been all cut-in, just have to roll the walls. The only hitch is in scrubbing the old wallpaper paste off of the bottom half of the walls of the stairwell. It's taking a LOT longer than I expected, so I don't think I'll get that finished this week, especially considering that I have 2 major projects due for class next Thursday, and I think the girls and I are going apple picking here over the weekend -http://www.hillcrestorchards.net/festivals.htm
Should be fun!

My gym just started with the zumba class and I was thinking of trying it out but I have a friend who says its really hard to follow and she didn't like it. Qhat do you think? I know you enjoy it but what do you think for someone who could fall flat on her face while walking

That's me! I'm a super klutz. The instructor I took them with for a while was really easy to follow, so maybe your friend just had a sucky teacher? I thought it was fun, I just didn't have the time to go to classes.

Yeah, that's the thing about the one I go to...

It's not like...an instuctional thing, really. They just go to it and you follow them. But the movements are really repetitive, so I think it's pretty easy to get the hang of.

I've gone probably 6 times now, and I pretty much "know" all the routines, but she adds a new one I haven't done almost everytime, and I enjoy that, too.

But yeah. I have a friend who just...isn't coordinated and I think she'd be more frustrated with it than enjoy it. BUT, honestly. A lot of the people who are there aren't coordinated, but they go and shake it for an hour, anyway.

My MIL is doing it in her hometown too, and she loves it.

I wonder if getting the DVD first would help? That way you might know some of the moves/routines before you go.

Speaking of feeling like an idiot while working out, last night I was doing a free-style jog on my WiiFit (I'm still too shy to run outside where people can see me) and I got tired of running in place. So I ran around my living room. Didn't make me feel like less of an idiot, oddly enough. Especially with the death stare I was getting from the kitties.

I did some walk/run dvds and FI would walk in and look at me and just shake his head. You really do feel like such a tool doing that :(
