TK RSVP Page??

Does anyone know how the knots RSVP page option for the weddng website works? Does it post of the name of guest who have RSVP'ed to the page or does it send you an email?

Re: TK RSVP Page??

  • I set this up on my page, then deleted it!  I read tons of reviews on here about people using it and it failed/didnt allow people access.  I ended up deciding to send out my RSVPs instead.  Yes, it will notify you when someone RSVPs.  The guest go to your RSVP page, type in their name and then it pulls up their party (based on the guest list you create, under the Guest List tool).  It also has the option to set up your meal preferences when they RSVP-and it will only allow them to make one choice.  It's a really neat tool, if it will actually work for you, I wasn't willing to take the risk!
  • Thanks for the info. I had already planned to send out rsvp's with the invites but I was just really curious how it worked.
  • It sends you an email indicating someone RSVP'd and also updates your guest list on the Knot w/their response.
If you have meal choices entered on your RSVP page it will ask the guest to select the meal choice and will also include that in the email (and in the response tab on your guest list)

If the name of the guest isn't matched to your guest list (incorrect spelling) it will the guest 5 lines to put in names to RSVP. If the name is matched on your guest list, then it will only give them the amount of lines as you have guests entered for that party.

For example if you have John and Jane Smith and they RSVP online, it will give them two lines to indicate acceptance/decline. But if you only have John Smith and he wants to bring his wife, it doesn't give him a second line to rsvp her online. So I went through and added the name GUEST to all of my parties so they have the option or bringing a guest IF they choose to RSVP online.

Can you tell I've tested the crap out of this?? :)

  • We didn't have meal options, so we edited the drop down to # of people.  That way they could choose how many people were coming in cases like the PP said.  We have been using it and haven't had any issues yet.  If someones name wasn't entered correctly it sends you an email saying who was trying to rsvp.  We've really liked having this online option for rsvping. :)
