wedding on a budget

I was looking into a hotel style wedding does anyone know of any at reasonable price. I’m trying to stay under 10,000 for my wedding.

    How many people and what area are you looking at in NJ? Also the day of the week and time of the year matter.

    I'm having my wedding at the Crystal Ballroom at the Radisson of Freehold. I know their prices start at $99 and they give a discount for certain off-season days/months. I'm not sure how many people you have though - $10k for everything may be hard to do. There is also the Quality Inn and Ramada in Toms River - they are owned by the same owners as the Radisson, but I'm not sure of their prices.

    Primavera Regency in Stirling... One wedding at a time, good food and VERY reasonable.  $65/pp for a SaturDAY wedding in July...

    The Ramada in Toms River is about the same as the Crystal Ballroom in Freehold. For a Saturday night you also have to guarantee 140 people.

    I was negotiating via e-mail with the Hasbrouck Heights Hilton, and I got them down to $90pp (tax and gratuity included).

    How many people are you looking to host? You could host about 50-60 people for these prices that people are listing, but if you want to host more than that, then you may want to look into something like a cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres only, or a desserts-only reception, or a lunch/brunch. Or do a fun, laid-back reception with pizza, burgers, barbecue, etc.

    redroses I'm jealous! We are getting married at the Primavera Sat night in July, I can't believe day to night is SUCH a big difference!!!
