I'm still a while away, but I think my wedding timeline will go something like this:
3:00-4:15 - Ceremony at Catholic mass 4:15-6:00 - Pictures and transit (reception is 25-30 min away, relative may host small hospitality event for guests to mingle in between) 6:00-7:00 - Cocktail hour 7:00-8:15 - Sit down dinner (w/ short welcome by my father, toasts from MOH and Best Man) 8:15 -9:30 - Band's first set, starting with first dance and Father/Daughter-Mother/Son dance 9:30 -10:00 - Band break, cutting of cake, possibly throwing of bouqet 10:00-11:15 - Band's second set, concluding with last dance and exit
12:00pm - Roller coaster with WP 12:30pm - "Rehearsal" lunch in suite 2:00pm - WP gets ready 4:30pm - Photo tour with B&G and WP 6:30pm - Return to hotel, freshen up, grab snacks 7:30pm - Ceremony 7:45pm - Formal pictures outside, "cocktail hour" inside 8:15pm - B&G enter reception 10:00pm - Reception concludes, possible after-party
We don't really have any spotlight moments planned for the reception since it will just be cocktails and mingling; we'll probably cut the cake soon after we make our entrance so people can dig in.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
