Different Shades of Pink? PIP

My wedding colors are pink and black. I will be wearing DBs watermelon colored sash with my dress and wearing pink shoes. My BMs will be wearing short black dresses with the same watermelon colored sash and pink shoes. My question is would different shades of pink shoes look bad? I fell in love with a pair of glitter shoes but they are more hot pink than watermelon =/

Pinks will all go and plus your dress will mostly cover anyway.

My opinion - it will look BEST if the shoes are the same color as your sashes. Do I think it will look awful if the shoes are slightly darker? No.

If you can find glitter in the right shade you can try to DIY. I just saw a pair of similar DIY glitter pumps and they looked great.

I think you can pull off different shades of pink only if you have 3 or more different pinks so it looks intentional. Otherwise, I'm afraid I think it will clash. Sorry!

It won't look horrible because they are so far apart on your body.

My suggestion would be to DIY with the shoes. Martha Stewart Crafts has sooooooooo many colors of glitter, you could probably find the perfect watermelon shade. I think Michaels carries her stuff and they always have coupons.

Those shoes look more purple than anything, watermelon is a very warm pink and those shoes are more a lukewarm purple.
