I visited my venue today and just HAD to share the mock up of my tables. Take a look and let me know your thoughts. . . I'm working so hard to be able to include white chiavari chairs into the budget, but as of right now, these chairs are what I have to work with...

That looks really nice! FWIW...the chairs in the pic kinda blend in, so the focus is on the tablescape and not the chairs.

Very nice! I agree about the chairs....no one liiks at the chairs in a venue like that. It is what it is. Just as long as the chairs are clean and in good condition.

I don't think the chairs are that bad. I hate when people put white covers over them unless they are just awful. These do not fall into the awful category. However, if its bothering you a ton, I absolutely understand why you would want the other type. Do you mind if I ask how much it costs in your area to rent the chivari chairs?

I really love it! I think it's beautiful and so well done! I'd like the white chairs better, but they chairs aren't bad and it's still beautiful. I wouldn't add chair covers.

Can you get more of that table cloth fabric? You could make a plain square chair back covers out of the gray table cloth fabric and then they would just blend in.

My venue offers the service of arranging for the rental of chiavari chairs at $13 per chair. (thats $650). I was able to find them for about $8 each, but I found out that my venue will not store them, set them up or take them down. Basically, I would have to arrange for the delivery to come right before my ceremony, set it all up and come back prompty at 3pm when the reception is over to pick them up. No rental company wants to do that. So either I dont do them, or I pay $650. I am really not liking the way the venue is starting to have these issues and Im noticing it more and more.
