In Suite DJ's/Music

Hello Everyone!

Does anyone know how entertainment/music/DJ's work at in suite receptions? I'm looking into having one but was told you pretty much use one at your own risk per one of the staff members I spoke to at Mandalay Bay. Any suggestions or insight as to what may be a good alternative?

    Im doing an in suite wedding and Im not using a DJ.  Im gonna download all the songs i want to play on my ipod and play it.  A lot of the hotels have speakers throughout the suite that will play from your ipod.

    I definitely think it depends on if you want to take the risk.. There are aLOT OF BRIDES.. that have receptions in suites and use DJ's and have no problems.. but there are some that say they did have hotel staff come and advise them of the noise level...

    Totally up to you..But I am sure you can check with vegasgroom and see the dj list and check with them if theyve worked at certain hotels

    It is definitely at your own risk. I had DJ Godzilla in the Vista Suite at MB playing rap and hip hop and it was perfect. Not one complaint. We also rented the adjoining room.

    Do you happen to have the info for this DJ and how did you like his service? Better yet, was he reasonable? I'm balling on a budget. lol

    Alright cool!!! I guess he's a very popular DJ in LV. Did you find his prices to be reasonable?

    You have to do what is going to make you comfortable. It would be ashame to have a DJ and worry all night that you could be too loud for guests in other rooms.

    I also believe that many DJ's are used to in-suite receptions and are very cautious and respectful of the other guests.

    You should def look into DJ Godzilla. I'm using him for my in-suite next month.

    DJ Godzilla is booked the day of my wedding Cry......however, as of February he will have about 4 other DJ's working under him. So I'm not completely bummed, just hoping his staff is just as good as he is.

    <div>Hi :) I want to hire that suite and get the adjoining room - but I can't find how to book it. Did you email them direct? What day was it on - I read they cannot guarantee your room and can bump you down to a lesser suite - plus a room far away. The second room is for my little boy and my MIL who will be looking after him. Thanks! (for my wedding) x</div>
