Family friendly drink and brunch locations

Hi,

I am looking for two locations in Manhattan:

1) somewhere to have drinks for 2 hours on the Friday before the wedding to greet out of town guests.

2) somewhere to have brunch on the Sunday afternoon following the wedding.

My issue is that anywhere needs to also be:

1) family friendly - we have a few babies and <18 year olds in the wedding party.
2) not overly expensive - we will be paying for the drinks evening but the guests will pay for the brunch.
3) Likely 30-40 people to be at each event.
4) anywhere from 96th st south might work.

Any ideas?

    What's your budget and does it matter where in NYC? Are you having most of your guests staying at a hotel?

    Hi,

    I updated the post a little.  Guests are staying all over so the best place would be somewhere central in Manhattan, but given that it's not that big a place, I'm open to any ideas at the moment!
