Re: tk confessions!ayg??

  • There's a difference between not shaving your pits and letting blood seep from your vag onto your floors and playing with it. If someone came up in here and in a TMI thread started talking about playing with their shiit, people would tell that person to get a mental evaluation.
Once Mery quoted me, but cut out the top part of what I said and as a result, I sounded really stupid.  She then (of course) wrote a thesis full of her "facts" under my post and made me look really dumb. It was all in her condescending way.  I think she probably somewhat innocently cut off the top part that made the rest of my post look like it made sense, but I still haven't gotten over it and wonder if she did it on purpose. I know holding an internet grudge is petty, but I never enjoyed her posts before then and now majorly get annoyed by her. Posted by djhar
OK. Now I'll read the rest of this. I'm only on page 2.
In Response to Re: tk confessions!ayg?? : Ditto.  It's a pain in the ass to shave.  I'm checking into laser hair removal but I've heard it's painful.
    Posted by jcbsjr
I am just finishing up with laser hair removal, and the overall process is about 2 years long. But for me it was absolutely worth it. I have a very low pain tolerance and some sessions got a little uncomfortable but it really wasn't too bad.

I think the stuff Nicki does is really weird and I don't have any inclination to paint with my menstural blood or anything, but I don't think it makes her crazy. I'm willing to bet some people here do grosser things they just don't post about them.

And this stuff is way more entertaining than posts about how to reduce your guest list and shiit like that.
  • I don't know.  I would not do the free-bleeding thing, but if she's not doing it on my floors or in my house, I don't really giveashit, honestly.  I don't really find period blood all that gross.
Sarah, good to know.  Do you take anything prior to getting treatments?
    Posted by jcbsjr
Nope. Just shave the area clean and go in. Twice they comped my treatments because my laser was broken and they tortured me with the laser for dark skinned people. I am NOT dark skinned. Given the area I was having treated, they are lucky their employee escaped unscathed. WIth the right laser its not painful at all though. <div>
</div><div>I had to stop because I got pregnant, but even over a year later the hair has not grown back as much as it was previously. It is softer and more sparse. It should only take a couple more treatments to get me back to where I was. </div>

Exactly.  I don't care if other people don't shave their pits, or use a Diva Cup, or whatever.  To each her own.  And we all get a little TMI-y around here at times, but she went way too far.  Letting it run onto the floor on a regular basis?  No.  Examining the cup's contents extensively?  No.  Unless it's for a medical evaluation of some sort, just no.

I can see that, sort of.  But something like that is just so off the wall to me I cant relate.  However, I doubt her and I would ever have anything in common or be friends IRL so in the grand scheme of things it doesnt matter.  I still think its bonkers though.

I agree. I think saying things like "i feel bad for her FI" and saying she is crazy is being a bit dramatic. I don't understand why she does it, but it doesn't upset me that she does.

  • So what Anna, should people just cop a squat on the floor now when they have to go?  Because apparently letting your bodily fluids run freely down your legs and onto the floor of your home is not something people should judge for?  WTF?

  • I never really liked hairy guys in the past. My husband is hairy, and I wouldn't say that I *love* the fact that he is hairy, but I love him, so it works.
What I *don't love* is when he points out that my legs are like a cactus when I am two days late in shaving them. Leave me alone you hairball. It's hard to be a woman. I can't keep up.

As far as NikkiVegan goes, I was slightly disturbed by the whole playing with her own stuff, but mostly disturbed by the dripping on the floor. That was the weirdest portion. Not that I play with my period at all, but whatever. I love a little hippie-ness in a person, I just would prefer not to hang out at her house.
  • From what Nikki posted about examining her menstrual fluids, it sounds like she fancies herself some sort of expert, especially when she flippantly talks about how if she doesn't check this stuff out, her gyno certainly won't.

Really.  That is weird.  You don't have to flow all over yourself and your house and spend quality time with the stuff because you think your own doctor doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • Letting blood fall to the floor and then playing in it is gross and the only thing I can think of that would be grosser is playing in poop. Both are unsanitary.

There are some things you should not mention on the net and if you do, you risk the chance of being chastised for it.

  • I don't believe there is any reason to be ashamed of having a period or pooping. Obviously everyone poops (I even have that book), and women have periods, but both are typically not sanitary and are waste. They are not meant to be handled, played with or otherwise used. If that was the case, your body would keep it rather than expelling it.

I'm a little weirded out that I get the feeling of not wanting to wear anything to clean it up, but I get it.  Sometimes I fuucking hate pads/tampons.  I wouldn't free-bleed, but I kind of get where she's coming from.
