    I guess he's "brighter" at the moment.  That's a positive!  I know mood and optimism are usually a good part of the healing process!

    Doing better but still in, and as a side bonus my dad and I got his student loan payments reduced to a fraction of what they were, so he won't have to stress out about missing work because of it!
