Melmac, I just wanted to add that if you were 'kicked out' it wasn't because you are disliked or anything. People share a lot of personal information that they don't feel comfortable putting on the boards, so until someone has been around for long enough they most likely won't be in the FB group.

I don't think any of us want you to think that anyone actively "dislikes" you because of the stupid effing FB group. It was started because TK was acting like a POS (as usual) and, since most of the regs were already friends, everyone got added. There was a bit of an issue with the majority of people not knowing certain people, and felt that it was a privacy thing. We aren't effing mean girls, we aren't trying to ostracize people, and we don't constantly talk shiiiit. We don't sit on FB all day trying to come up with ways to flame people, or drive them away or whatever. It started because TK was effed up, and people decided it was a personal vendetta against themselves & the board.

I, for one (and I don't want to speak to everyone), like you, and your contributions to the board. I'm sorry if you feel left out/put out by the FB board, but it's really not a big deal.

And I really REALLY wish people would stop making such a big effing deal about FB. The only time there are problems is when someone - usually UNINVOLVED - makes a comment about it, and then drama ensues. IT'S NOT THAT DRAMATIC.

No, you only asked that because it had already been brought up. My issue was always with the fact that the FB group was brought up at all, because it wasn't necessary, and could have made people feel like shiiit. You said it didn't, so it's all good :) That said, we like you and hope you stick around long enough for us to know you really well and have you be part of that group also :)

For the record when I brought up facebook all I meant was that since it's easier (more reliable) to post stuff there the boards have gotten really slow on TK. So if we made an off board this board would probably be dead.

ETA: Or the board would get full of BSC girls all validating one another. That could make for interesting reads though...maybe we should all leave. Just let the crazies support each other.

I was part of a forum that created an off-board when everyone got pissed off about some changes to the board we were on. Fast forward about 5 years, and our off-board is dead, although the majority of members still post on the original board.

Also, when you have a different board somewhere, you never get new members, which is kinda boring.

Basically, as lame as it's been lately, I vote to stick around here.

I know I'm late to this, but here's the thing. Coco and Beth-if I'm not totally mistaken, you two were the ones who last brought FB into the conversation here, in the last FFF we had. I said it then, and I'll say it again. I don't think it should be brought up here. I think it leads to people thinking "huh, I'm not a member of any group, that makes me sad". Does that make sense?

Lunar, I feel like the only thing Bri was trying to do was express frustration about how this issue keeps coming up, because it keeps being mentioned on the board when it shouldn't be. She was also trying to clarify WHY the FB group is private, and WHY people aren't initially included. I think it sucks that people who were initially included aren't anymore, but peoples' privacy is important.

I agree with Beads as far as going to proboard. I think part of what keeps this forum interesting is the new members, and we won't get that if we go elsewhere. I'm really hoping they get this IT shiiit figured out sooner or later.
